Pls let me know the rate of excise applicable on sale of used machinery(like hydra mobile crain used for loading & unloading in transmission line tower business) in maharashtra
how to raise the invoice whether it is normal invoice or different
also let me know what is the VAT impect on same.

if no cenvat credit is availed, then no excise duty
vat @ 4% ( now 5%) on used machinery
if cenvat credit is availed then pay duty after dedcuting 2.5% for each quarter.
