Excise duty in commercial invoice of dealer

19 October 2013 Can a Central Excise Dealer show the amount of Excise Duty separately in his commercial Invoice

As i have heard that a dealer cannot show the amount of ED separately in his Commercial Invoice as he is just passing the Excise duty, he is not charging the duty.

19 October 2013 Yes you are right. Cenvatable invoice you can show excise duty separately but in the commercial invoice you can not charge excise duty.
