Supplier can charge excise duty and vat at one time on the same product.pls breif

if supplier are manufacturer and registered under excise then he can charge excise and vat on same product. if supplier are first stage or second stage dealer then he can pass excise duty and charge vat on same product.

Excise duty for manufacture of goods and VAT for sale within the state. Both will definitely apply on the same product. First Excise Duty shall apply and then VAT will apply. VAT will apply on Excise Duty component as well.

excise and vat both are mutually exclusive taxes and both would be applicable on the same.
