can an ssi excise duty payable unit do a jobwork of an unit which is not paying duty? what are the implications on the first ssi unit?

for doing job work firstly customer give intimation to its excise range that he want to job work from you. after that this receiving copy with on your letter head intimate to your range that you are doing the job work of that unit detail attached.
after that you can start material job work, material recd on challan 57F(4) and sending the material on that if you want to send the part material then make photocopy on this challan and fill the detail of material you are sending after job work with your job work charges bill. and same detail fill in challan in your record. original challan will send when you send final consignment against this challan means there is material pending against this challan.
