we are issuing excise invoices under rule 11 of excise rules 2002.whether all excisable invoices are numbered serially? meanwhile if any exempted goods dispatched what is the number alloted for exempted sales?

After filing a proper information to the concerned officer you can maintain a separate series of invoice for clearance of exempted goods.
