I WANT TO EXTRACT ONLY CHARACTER I.E. DHEERAJ KUMAR

28 October 2013 If structure of text is same as you mentioned, you can extract by using this formula =right(A1,10)

Where cell A1 refer to cell in which you have data.

28 October 2013 i have 10000 lines if i start counting character in each line then it will be too late

pl suggest some other alternative
