08 August 2013 While working on Excel work sheet i came
across :
= pmt
PMT(rate,nper,pv,(fv),(type))

Could some one can clarify what (type)
denotes.

08 August 2013 Type is the number 0 (zero) or 1 and indicates when payments are due.

If payments are due at the end of the period set type as 0 (zero).

If payments are due at the beginning of the period set type as 1.
