This query is : Resolved

15 April 2009 All the numbers in a coloumn are to be reduced to '000.

For example 12234 is to be reduced to 12.234 (i.e., twelve point two hundred thiry four)

How can I do it in one shot in excel?

Thanks,

15 April 2009 Write 1000 in another cell, Copy that cell, select the entire area where you require to reduce, paste special then divide and enter.
I.e.
The 1000 Ctrl C, Alt ESV, Enter.
If Not Cleared you can call me 9892267054.

15 April 2009 Thank you very much sir.
