Examtion in Inter Group

30 August 2009 Hi friends,
I had given both group of ICWAI ( Inter) exam, and i was cleared one group completly, and in 2nd group i was pass in all subject but in aggregate it was short by 4 marks.
In other hand in 1st group it was exceed by 6 marks in totalety it was 302 out of 600 i.e more then 50 %.
The institute menstion that i was pssed in Gr 1 only.
I think when we attempt the both Gr. then we got the chance to set of our intergroup marks.
Please advice

30 August 2009 Yes your observation is correct.

For example: if u got 202 out of 400 in I group(pass in all subject) and if u got 198 out of 400 in II group(pass in all subject), then in that case you should be declarerd pass as per CA/CS policy.

But i am not sure about ICWAI. Try and have a chat with some senior official at CWA headquarter.

01 September 2009 ya u r right but it is mention in cwa prospectus that u have to sored 50 % in each stage even u appred in both stage.
so even u socred more than 50% in aggrte of both stage,but u will be failed in that stage in which u got less than 50%.
hurd luck friend , one of my friend was in same condtion as u .
