Is institute study material and practice manual sufficient for all subjects of 1st group cafinal is it necessary to read from other books.

Dear Jhimmi,
Approx 80-90 % of the syllabus is covered from the materials provided by ICAI. But for finals I'll suggest to go for outside books also, coz there are many things which u'll find incomplete after studying from study materials(this is my personal view). So I'll suggest to go for outside books also, but do not forget the institute's study materials.
