21 July 2013 Hello caclubindians.. ever since the results of ca final may 2013 have been declared, i have been in a bit of a dilemma. I failed for the second time consecutively, audit, isca and mafa being my downfall factors. Could someone please suggest me the right books to refer and the correct format of answering in the exams so that i could pass my ca-finals in nov'13? Some would find it funny but I am determined to get a rank in nov'13 in order to compensate for my failures.. so please answer accordingly. Also, help from the rankholders would be highly appreciated!

21 July 2013 Thanx for the help and wishes Mishra Sir. On reading the article I learnt about the things I was doing right and what I wasn't. I just needed to ask whether it really matters which reference books I use, because I've never studied from padhuka before and changing my reference book 3months before the exams scares me a bit. But obviously I do study from books of some famous and knowledged personalities.
1. Financial Reporting - CA Parveen Sharma
2. SFM - CA Aaditya Jain & CA Rajesh Makkar
3. Auditing - CA Surbhi Bansal
4. Law - CA Munish Bhandari
5. Costing - CA Sanjay Aggarwal
6. ISCA - CA Dinesh Madan
7. DT - CA Vinod Gupta
8. IDT - CA Raj Kumar

Could anyone advise me whether thoroughly studying from these books would be sufficient to achieve my targets? Special notice should be given to sfm, auditing and isca.
