Exam days in extension period

17 December 2015 Kindly clarify if an article serves the extension period whether the exam days of ICAI within the said extension period are considered as leave or period served?

17 December 2015 exam days are counted as present including the holidays between exam days.

17 December 2015 Does the same apply in extension period too?? my principal is of view that in original articlship period only they are considered as present..kindly help me with some backings to present before principal?

17 December 2015 there is no such demarcation. The rule is a simple one...the exam days are present. No where does ICAI states that rules are different for main articleship and extension period. Rather you should ask him to give backing for his opinion.
