Dear Sir/Madam,
I have been selected for the post of Asst Manager:- Accounts & Finance, LIC Housing Finance. Meanwhile, before giving consent to join this company I received another Job offer from Capgemini (SOX Act Level O4).
Please advice me which company to join. Also let me know how can I evaluate whether the job profile which capgemini is offering is off shore or not? As one of my friend told me , its not good to join Capegemini since its a BPO and they will provide me off shore work. I cannot evaluate the two job profile on monetary terms, since both are offering me the same compensation.

I'd be harsh with this reply. Apologies!!
Only a handful of companies provide dream jobs. I've seen (may not be correct) people looking for job security & fixed working hours prefer govt jobs. Those who want to take risks & grow up the orgn chart asap prefer private sector.
SOX isn't as bad as you think. Exposure wise it'd be gr8. Everything can't be black or white - there are grey areas!!
