25 May 2010 I need to file C9 correction statement. TDS of Rs.10 was recovered less in Q1 2008-2009 and the same was remitted in May 2010. i have downloaded the etds rpu1.8 from nsdl site. the FVU file was successfully uploaded into the software and the changes in Challan details were carried out and entries were also made in deductee details. when i try to create file, i get an error message: "MSG00000:13: Type Mismatch". After clicking OK button, i get another message "Error in writing Challan detail".

I am unable to understand what the message means and where am I committing an error.

12 October 2011 1. Make sure that amount shown in TDS column of annexure 1 is not a negative amount. it has to be positive value only.
2. Also ensure that in the base amount column amount entered should be positive value greater than 0. Amount equal to zero will give you an error.
3. In the column of cheque number make sure value is 0 (not 0.00), in case of online payment.
