SIR,
I WANT TO FILE ETDS RETURN FOR GOVT DEDUCTORS. FOR THAT I CAN VIEW BIN DETAILS IN TIN WEBSITE, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO DOWNLOAD CSI FILE FOR BIN.
ANYBODY GUIDE MY HOW TO GET THE CSI FILE FOR 24G CASE FOR FILING QUARTERLY RETURN OF ETDS AND THAT PARTICULAR TAN IS NOT YET REGISTERED.

For 24G filing only mentioning the BIN details enough to validate and generate TDS return, CSI file requirement only for 24q and 26q

CSI file downloading requirement is not needed for Government Deductor salary 24Q ETDS filing. But you must quote the BIN Details (Receipt no. date, DDO serial no.)correctly in ETDS return, as per details available in BIN View. CSI matching is compulsory only for Challan payment Deductors.

Pl guide me how to file a quarterly returns for 24Q for government deductors.
I am facing problem while validating file in RPU, an error message only arise that CSI FILE IS MANDATORY FOR NON NIL CHALLANS.
Whether using normal RPU version is correct or any other software is to be used for Govt deductors.

I think you may did wrong in Type of Deductor. you should select either Central Government or State Government as the case may be in type. If select other than Govt, then the RPU will show the above error. Normal RPU is better for this filing. And also you should select "YES" on book adjustment option being originally the tax was deducted as Book Adjustment. Govt Dedector ETDS is not as easy as Non-Government Deductor. For non-book adjustment TDS payment, CSI file is mandatory.
