Is filing etds return through itd website compulsory for q4 or

No, its not mandatory. It is optional yet,you can file tds return by both means. So you can follow old system

This facility for filling through income tax efilling website is not mandatory but it useful for the person who has registered their DSC in efilling portal can upload their tds return without going to NSDL Centers.

no its your own you can file with NSDL and on line as you wish.
