DEAR SIR ,
I AM AJAY JAIN. I WANT TO KNOW THAT WHETHER THE ESIC CONTRIBUTION HAS TO BE PAID BY THE EMPLOYER ON THE FOLLOWING ALLOWANCES GIVEN TO EMPLOYEE:
1)
HOUSE RENT ALLOWANCE ,
MEDICAL ALLOWANCE
CONVEYANCE ALLOWANCE,
EXGRATIA PAYMENT
LEAVE ENCASHMENT PAYMENT.
2) ALSO PLS GUIDE US WHETHER ESIC AMOUNT HAS TO PAID ON THE JOB WORK DONE BY SOME OTHER COMPANY FOR US.
3) ALSO ON CARTING EXPENSES , LOADING AND UNLOADING EXPENSES, REPAIR AND MAINTAINCE PAYMENT TO A PERSON WHO IS NOT OUR EMPLOYEE

1) Yes, contributions are required to be made on all the allowances mentioned by you.
2) Such person should be covered under the scheme by contractor/third party vendors, other wise it would be your responsibility to provide them coverage under ESI.
3) You are not responsible for person hired for loading/unloading etc. But you should hire them from a proper agency as merely because they are not able to get the benefit of scheme, it would not be a proper ground for non-coverage.
