I am working in Contracting co. for construction of residential and commercial project. We recently got 1 residential project in indore. As you aware of that the ESIC is not applicable for Construction companies. Please let me know is ESIC applicable in indore?

09 April 2015 I don't aware that, esi will not applicable for construction companies. As per my knowledge, esi will applies based on no.of employees, irrespective of type of business.

Presently, the ESI Act applies where employee 10 or more, including non-seasonal factories or manufacturing units, shops & establishments, Private Medical & Educational Institutions.
