Hai all. I would like to know about ESI &EPF areas that are relevant to the internal audit and in general.

Dear Concern,
For PF please find the following Test Steps
1. Scrutinize Ledger to check whether tax is booked in a timely manner
2. Review whether PF deducted as per HR is same as booked by Accounts department and same is remitted on monthly basis.
3. Obtain PF challans filled to authorities for each month
4. Ensure same are filled by 15th of every month"
