Que:An entity have 4 shops,a factory and a head office
Total no. employees working in factory:30
Employees working in each shop:5 (in each shop)
Employees working in head office:30
Please clarify the applicability of ESI and PF act.Are these acts applicable on Employer wise or entity wise?

For ESI and PF applicable for factory and office, Esi and PF Applicable establishment wise, if shop, office and factory is in same establishment than it applies to all,
If shop is the part of establishment of factory or office than also esi and PF applicable. Minimum number exceeds 10 for ESI & 20 in case of PF.
If shops are separate entity than than it is optional.
If shop is the part of establishment of factory or office than also esi and PF applicable. Minimum number exceeds 10 for ESI & 20 in case of PF.
