06 June 2011 IS ESI CONTRIBUTION IS OPTIONAL, WHOSE SALARY MORE THAN RS. 15000 ? AND IF ANY EMPLOYER DEDUCTING ESI ON MORE THAN RS. 15000 IS IT PUNISHABLE OR NOT.

ONE MORE Q- AT THE TIME OF JOINING SALARY IS LESS THAN 15000, BUT AFTER SOME MONTH SALARY INCREASED AND CROSS THE ESI LIMIT, THEN ESI DEDUCTION IS DISCONTINUE OR NOT, IF YES WHEN?

06 June 2011 in that case

1) the employee will discounue ESI scheme, or
2) pay contribution for 15000

06 June 2011 if contribution for rs. 20,000 then any issue? and any penalty for employer.
