Error while uploading ITR

19 July 2021 Have a simple ITR 2 with only Pension , Interest and Dividend. On completion of offline utility, validation successful with "no errors found". However, while verification (during upload into the department website), an error "1a- dtaa dividend-system calculated value is not equal to value at 3(ii)" pops up.

Interestingly, tried the same on online mode with the same results.

Is there a glitch or am I missing something. Would appreciate help and advice. Thanks.

19 July 2021 You have to classify the amount of dividend in column 3((ii)

19 July 2021 Thank you madam for a quick response. I really appreciate it. However, I am still unclear on your suggestion. (the error message referred to was 3aii and not 3ii - sorry about that). My understanding is that item 3 in Schedule OS is deduction for interest. I have not claimed any deduction at all. I received dividend from companies. The aggregate amount has been shown at 1a while the quarterly breakup has been given at item 10 as required - and the breakup tallies with those in Form 26AS.
And, as I had mentioned earlier, the validation shows no error at all while the error message pops up only during upload. What, then, is the mistake that I am making? Would be grateful for your advice. Thanks and regards.

22 July 2021 Actually error occurred is due to non providing of bifurcation of dividend period wise in Column 3 (a)(ii). I also filed ITR declaring dividend income but no error occured.

24 July 2021 Thank you. I could not find any option to bifurcate interest (item 3aii) but did do so for dividend at item 10. Meanwhile, I once again tried to upload the ITR: and it went through without any error message! Thank you very much for the assistance, and God bless.
