Error in validation of ITR 3

Users are encountering a validation error when filing ITR-3, stating that the sum of values in Schedule BP (Sl. No. 36(iv) to 36(vii)) should match the 'Net profit' in Schedule P&L (Sl. No. 64(id) and 64(iid)) for 'no account' cases. While the latest utility versions (1.0.26 and 1.0.27) show successful validation, the error persists upon online upload. This appears to be a technical glitch, as the schedules are auto-populated and the income entries seem unrelated. 20 December 2021 "In Schedule BP, sum of values entered from 36(iv) to 36(vii) should be equal to sum of "Net profit" declared at Sl.No. 64(id) and 64(iid) in Sch P&L" error shown while filling ITR-3 in no Account Case. I have updated to utility version of 1.0.26 on 18/12/2021. In the utility the validation is successful. But while uploading online in the site above error is coming. This is also appearing as validation rules at SNo 218 of "https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/sites/default/files/2021-06/CBDT_e-Filing_ITR_3_Validation_Rules_V_1.0.pdf" . According to me income at sr 36(iv) to 36(vii) has no connection with income at Sr 64 above. Please guide me. Thank You.

21 December 2021 Since this error message is in the official validation list, and nothing is there in hands of taxpayer to rectify this. The schedule BP is auto populated. Only thing remains is to forget the benefits of Section 64, where you get some deduction and report the income in ‘income from other sources’ and pay more tax. What a pity. Where ever the schedules are auto populated, care should be taken by not allowing or by giving alert at the time of data entry. This is my humble suggestion. Thanks.

21 December 2021 Download latest utility version of 1.0.27 released on 20/12/2021 & reprocess the ITR.
