I requested to know that in ER-6 Return in the table it is asked consumption of principal inputs & finished excisable goods, whereas what about the semi-finished goods and where the details should be included whether in RM as the goods are not finished or in Finished goods as the goods are not in the shape of RM - Kinly clarify

ER6 is a monthly report which calls for information wrt principal (major) inputs procured during the month, the finished goods manufactured out of these principle inputs and the scrap generated during the process. The information reg semi-finished goods is not sought.

Thanks Mr. Ambadas and here when I discuss the issue with the excise people, they sugessted to include it in RM to arrive the total stock - kindly suggest.
