My company is Receiving the Foreign payments through the PayPal Gateway and PayPal has charged more then 5 lacs as commission/Transaction fee. is my company liable to deposit the Equalisation Tax or not on the transaction fee paid to PayPal.

16 June 2023 The payment gateway charges were in nature of fees for banking services and not 'commission' or 'brokerage' and thus no TDS was deductible from the said charges under Section 194 H of the Act.
Equilisation levy not applicable as it's not a E commerce operator.
