13 July 2014 whether EPF deduction limit for salary employee increased to 15000 from 6500 and my another query is EPF contribution to employee increased to 1.5 lacs from 1 Lacs.
and this provision from which date apply.

13 July 2014 No Such Changes. Only 80C limit is increased from Rs 1 lac to 1.5 lacs effective from FY 2014-15 i.e., AY 2015-16. Contribution to EPF is eligible for deduction u/s 80C. So in turn you can say Limit of deduction for employees contribution to EPF has increased from 1 lac to rs 1.5 lacs.

17 July 2014 PF limit increased from Rs 6500 to Rs 15000. See below link--
