13 February 2012 Dear Sir,

I am handling account of party they are in trading of Printing Machinery resale & repair & maintance , they are Purchase the Machinery from amirtsar & they are paying the entry tax by the time of Purchase

My Question to you they are also purschaseing the Spare Parts for Printing machinery - wherther spare parts also attrack the entry tax

The Firm is in karnataka - (Bangalore)

13 February 2012 As per the scenario provided by you, purchase of spare parts from an outside state/local dealers who have paid entry tax when they purchased, will attract entry tax.

Sir i need some more clarification

If they are Purchasing the Spare from the Manufacture outside karanataka, then also we are liable to Pay the entry tax

06 March 2012 Yes you have to pay entry tax if you purchase the same from outside karnataka.

Entry tax need not be paid in the situation you have purchased a within the state manufactured good.
