25 April 2010 can any one help me in providing the entries regarding purchase of share /sales of share.

how to record entries relating to intraday transaction.

how to maintain stock..

under what head the following ledgers should be created.

Brokerage account
Service tax
STT
exchange levies
speculation transaction

26 April 2010 if u want to show all ur transaction as a business income than simply pass the entry...broker account DR/Cr and profit/loss from sale of shares CR/DR... simply all the expenses can be treated as a direct expenses, and the same can be debited in profit and loss account
