23 June 2014 How to make entries in tally single mode in
contra,payment and Receipt . while making entries Like contra, payment, Receipt i little bit confused such type of entries.
Crux Which account should be Header and which account should be footer.

23 June 2014 Look in single entry one account is automatically taken by Tally. Like in Payment u must have to select among cash or Bank in upward column. U can try that only cash or Bank will b allowed. But in journal the single entry will not work.
