26 May 2008 Sir..I have passed CA final and now working as an employee. I have one doubt about the practicing, shall i join as partner in any audit firm and do the activity in evening (after my office hours)? Can i do like this?

Is it contravening of CA professional ethics?

26 May 2008 if u r in full time employment with a company and have part-time COP, u can't perfom attestation functions like audit.

11 July 2008 Have you informed ICAI of the job? You need to take permission for the same. Still part-time in practice you have to clarify with ICAI.
