dear sir, my friend is a commision agent. he wants to efill ITR2 for AY2011-120and AY 2012-13 for tds refund. so i want to know that can he fill for both AYs simultaneously?

Yes your friend would be able to file both the returns simultaneously. The difference would be that he has to file return for AY 2011-12 as a belated return.

but some one has said that the time for filling for ay11-12 has expired on 31 march 2012

Yes. Return for both the years can be filed simultaneously.
For AY 201-12, the return shall be belated return, which can be filed upto 1 year from the end of the assessment year, which in this case shall be 31 March 2013.
However, he should use ITR4 for the same.
