Eligibility for may 2015exam regarding direct entry in ipcc

I have joined on 20th,Feb 2014 at Kolkata without apprearing in CPT and received books under Direct Entry System as I scored more than 55% marks in my Masters in Commerce.I have still not received my registration letter.They say that it will be dispatched within 30-45 days.Now Suppose I receive my letter after 45 days.Can you let me know how can I make plan for my Orientation,ITT Training and articleship.Am I eligible for May 2014 exam or not ?In addition to above,Can I do Orientation,ITT Training and Articleship from Delhi while registration that is going to be done in Kolkata,if so what is the procedure ?Can I start Articleship before ITT and orientation ?Also,how can I plan my study or take coaching ?
I will be very much thankful,if you help me in this regard.
2. your eligibility to May 15 depends on completion of 9 months of articleship
3. with regards to letter, kindly keep checking up with the EIRC. If possible, either visit the EIRC office or let someone go on your behalf. if the letter is ready, you can pick it up on your own.
4. with regards to exam preparation, dont wait for the registration letter. start preparing right away.

1.What would be the last month for joining articleship seeking above condition ? Would 9 months be counted till Feb end 2015 (exam form last date) or May end 2015(Exam Start date) ? Kindly clarify the same.
2.Can I transfer the Registration & Correspondence address from Kolkata where Registration is to be done to Delhi address when I am expected to do all the trainings.If so,kindly let me know.
3.I could not understand that doing articleship for the period of 9 month how one can study the course.
4.Which would be better to appear in exam in Group 1 alone or Group 1 & Group 2 both at once ?

2. Yes you can change the address of correspondence by submitting a letter stating new address on plain paper to articles section to NIRC.

4. it is always better to go for both groups in one go. anyways you have a lot of time to prepare, so you should definitely appear for both the groups.

With regard to my query 3,I meant to say that how one can simultaneously manage & do articleship as well as study.Becoz,articleship time table would be perhaps be 9:00 am to 5/6/7:00 pm.In this condition how one can manage time to take coaching and prepare for the exam.As he would have left time in morning ,5-8 =3hrs and evening 8-10,remaining would be time(6hrs) for sleeping due to whole days mind exhausted and I don't think it will carry anything in evening.
Secondly,
I am still confused,for the registration purposes only I am doing registration at Kolkata(Eastern Region) and given my correspondence address at Kolkata.Now as I would like to do my OT & IT & Articleship in Delhi,here should I write letter regarding change in Correspondence address to Kolkata Branch(Eastern Region) or Delhi Branch(Northern Region) of ICAI.Pls note that after writing letter all the correspondence should be done at my new Correpondence address i.e Delhi and nothing to be done at old address i.e Kolkata.I am still confused in this matter.If you know the process,kindly do let me know becoz due to some of my personal reason,I am doing the registration in Kolkata Branch (Eastern Region),otherwise I would have done at Delhi Branch(Northern Region)

with regards to preparation, friend, everyone pursuing CA course struggles with this juggling act of articleship, coaching, self study etc. What you need to do is to get into a strict regime of good sleep and fixed study hours. Also, the articleship experience will also help you in understanding the course material specially on subjects like taxation, accounts, audit and law. To start with you can just focus on articleship and rest on the weekdays and study on the weekends.
With regards to address for correspondence:
1. you have right to pursue any part of the CA course anywhere in the country including ITT, OTP, Articleship, examination etc
2. for change of address, you can submit the letter to NIRC stating the new address for correspondence.

It means that despite done registration at Kolkata Branch (EIRC,Eastern Region),I can directly write letter to NIRC,delhi instead of Kolkata Branch(EIRC,Kolkata)regarding change of address of correspondence,is that so ?
It also means that I should not have to notify to Kolkata Branch(EIRC) regarding change of correspondence address.But it should be specifically notified in writing to Delhi Branch (NIRC)regarding change of correspondence address.Is that so ?
Any documents besides writing letter to be enclosed with letter that is to be submitted to Delhi Branch(NIRC).

All you have to do is to write a letter with the new address. thats all. no document to be attached with it. even if you dont do this, you can still do everything in NIRC.

Thanks again.one more things,I have not heard about GMCS.When this is to be done ?What is the duration of it ? What happens if GMCS is not done ?Is this a mandatory criteria for appearing for IPCC exam in May 2015 ?
