I am from direct entry scheme and i have completed 11 months of article ship and taken termination and i have not re joined in any other firm yet. can i write my IPCC exam in may 2014. Is that required that i should be in service if i want to write the exam

23 February 2014 well the ICAI guidelines dont talk about you being in service at the time of examination for IPCE unlike CA finals where this condition is explicitly mentioned. So as such you should be eligible for examination. There are two issues: 1, who will issue you the service certificate. 2. whether Form 109 signed can be considered as service certificate. Given that very short period of time is left for filling the exam form, please contact ICAI examination section immediately.
