SIR,
IF mr.A receive electroplating service(on auto parts) for exporting auto parts..(he's not manufacturer of auto parts)
is he liable to service tax?
if yes then under which service?
if under works contract ,tell me the %age of abatement?

Dear Kunal,
In my view the Service is taxable as works contract provided the conditions of Section 65B(54) are satisfied.
The applicable rate is 70% of the total amount charged.
