04 January 2013 If a director tenders his resignation letter expressing his desire to be released from the company with immediate effect, then does that resignation take effect from the date of communication of the same by the director or from the date when the resignation is accepted by the company in Board Meeting?

04 January 2013 The voluntary resignation of a permanent director when permitted under the articles is not dependent upon its acceptance by the company. He is entitled to relinquish his office.
