i wanted to ask whether a private limited can be covered under the definition of educational institution for claiming mega exemtion (serial No 9.) ?

13 July 2015 To fall under this term "educational Institution",you have just to refer the definition of the same as provided in section 66D(l),which says that - "services by way of- (i) pre-school educationand education up to higher secondary school or equivalent; (ii) education as a part od curriculum for obtaining a qualifification recognised by any law for the time beimg in force; (iii) education as a part of an approved vocational education course." thus there is no other condition like the ed.institution shd be a firm.company or whatever to fall under this definition.ca sagar mal pareek
