Education/tuition fees under 80c

12 April 2013 I have a 1 and half year old son who goes to a play group.
Can I claim the monthly fees that I pay for the play group as Tuition/Education Fees under 80C?

12 April 2013 I do not think play group constitutes an educational institution. But if it is, then portion of tuition fees will be allowed. Following are the excerpt from Sec. 80C

"to any university, college, school or other educational institution situated within India; (b) for the purpose of full-time education"
