rightnow i am waiting for the pcc result.this is my 4th attempt but i want to join cs course also if pcc result will be + or -. can i start & articleship in cs course is compulsory or not.

02 July 2010 u can start your cs course but u have to take permission from ICAI if your article training is going on. there is prescribed form for taking permission u can submit the same to ICAI. ICAI will give you permission in writing, after that u can start ur cs course. there is no article ship training like CA but you have to undergo 15 months industrial training which you can complete even after becoming CS.Further, you are required to undergo 15 months training with a Company or Company Secreatary in Practice regsitered with the Instituite for imparting training.

02 July 2010 15 months training in CS is mandatory.

You have to intimate ICAI through filing of form 112 about joining of CS.

I would advise you to start preparing for CS only after completion of PCC. However enroll yourself today.
