12 October 2017 A firm producing 7 units of output has an average cost of rs 150th has to pay rs 350 to its fixed factors of production whether it produces or not. How much of the average total cost is made up of variable costs?

12 October 2017 from the data given, it appears that 150 X 7 = 1050 is the total cost.and 350 is fixed i.e. 1/3rd is fixed
So? 2/3rd is variable cost i.e. 700
