Easy Exit Scheme 2010

11 June 2010 Ours is a private limited company. The company has no business activities from July of 2009. It has no assets nor any liabilities. There is no prospect of the company reviving its business activities. Can we avail of the Easy Exit Scheme 2010 for closing down the company.

11 June 2010 Scheme applicable only to defunct company.
For the purpose of the schemen “defunct company” means a company registered under the Companies Act, 1956 which is not carrying over any business activity or operation on or after the 1st April, 2008 and includes a company which has not raised its paid up capital as provided in sub sections (3) and (4) of section 3 of the Companies Act, 1956;

So not applicable in ur case.
