05 September 2013 i am a trader of plyboard in shimla
i want to purchase plywood from the manufacturer in yamuna nagar ,haryana
and sale it again directly from yamuna nagar to delhi. i know transit sale applied on this transaction.
i want to know how e1 form sale follow and how i issue invoice in the favor of delhi party?
and during the goods physical movement which type of invoice is issued?
kindly also tell me if i issue the invoice directly to the delhi party from yamuna nagar is this invoice is legal

05 September 2013 Mr D Arora,
You may ask the manufacturer M to send the goods through a transport along with his invoice. As the plywood load reaches the tranporter you may collect M's invoice and introduce your invoice with an endorsement on the LR that the load be delivered to D of Delhi.Now D gives 'C' form to you and you give a 'C form to M. M in turn will issue an E1 form.....mjk

but one more thing how the endorsement is to be done on L.R. ? i mean to say is there is specific language for the endorsement in L.R ?

17 September 2013 You may issue a letter to the transporter for this purpose or may make a note on the LR saying that "The goods of invoice no.... dated.... of M/s .....co has been sold i transit to M/s.......co Address :........ You are requested to deliver to them."----.....mjk
