what is e1 sale and sale against c-form

In an interstate sale when a buyer sells his goods in transit,i.e. before receiving them,to some other dealer,it is called an E1 sale.If this second buyer also extends his sale to a third buyer,then it becomes an E2 sale. In both the cases all dealers concerned should be registered under VAT and CST Acts and statutory forms are to be furnished as per rules.....mjk
