sir/madam
i want to know that we filed e return of income tax for f.y 2008-2009 and generate a e return acknowledge. we are from gujarat state. and we have to send our return in income tax electronic city karnatak. so i want to know that only e return acknowledge is necessary to send or full return of 25 pages with necessary advance taxex challan,tds certificate,lic receipt,housing loan certificate etc. we r confused so please help us which document we have to send karnataka only acknowledge or full return with necessary document.

Only ITR - V one page has to be signed and to be sent to Bangalore.
Only when assessing officer asks for the details you have to furnish all the documents at that time.

You will get a confirmation message in the e-mail address given on successful completion of e-filing. Clause 5 of such a communication is copied here for your information. As Mr. Srinivasulu rightly said ITR-V need only be send to B'lore.
5. Please furnish the signed and verified Form ITR-V to the Income-tax Department by mailing it to Income Tax Department - CPC,
Post Bag No - 1 , Electronic City Post Office, Bangalore - 560100, Karnataka, BY ORDINARY POST ONLY on or before the 30th September,2009 or within a period of 60 days, whichever is later, from the date of transmitting the data electronically.
