E-filing of return

06 October 2014 Dear Sir,
I have to file ITR 1 for A.Y.204-15 & I am doing the same on income tax website through QUICK E FILE facility.

But after filling the form when i submit it. It shows a message as following:-

"Please enter a Valid IFS Code"

Pls help Sir, is that mean IFSC Code of Bank?
I have checked that is right.

Then What is this?

07 October 2014 it means IFSC only. calling IFSC code is a misnomer as C in IFSC stands for Code only. So the exact term is IFS Code.

check it again first four characters should be english letters and next seven characters should be numeric.

07 October 2014 AMAN CHECK AGAIN IFSC YOU HAVE FILLED IN IFS CODE FIRST 4 CHARACTER SHOULD BE ALPHABETICALLY 5TH CHARACTER SHOULD BE NUMERIC ZERO (0) AND REST 6 MAY BE ALPHANUMERIC, MAY BE YOU ARE TREATING 0 (ZERO) AS 'O' ON 5TH PLACE.
