E-filing of Huf assessee

If assessee is Huf and the registration name shows not valid eventhough assessee name on pan card is same as above mentioned in the registration data and services provided by NSDL site.

Are you putting the name of HUF in Surname Column? It will not be accepted in any other column. Give its full name in Surname column. I hope it will solve your problem.

Try this. Go to online payment section on incometaxindia.gov.in. Fill up the form for self assessment tax by putting the PAN of your HUF client. After submitting the information, the website will show you the exact name for the PAN No. By this method you can get the exact name that is appearing in the database of IT office.

CALL THE PHONE NUMBER OF THE HELPLINE GIVEN IN THE INCOME TAX SITE, YOU WILL GET CONNECTED TO THEIR CALL CENTRE AT NOIDA & THE EXECUTIVE AT WILL SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM POSSIBLY OVER THE TELEPHONE. I HAD FACED THE SAME PROBLEM IN CASE OF MY CLIENT HUF & I GOT IT SOLVED ON THE TELEPHONE. TRY IT
