01 October 2010 I have received TDS certificate from bank and there is no other income. income does not exceed the minimum limit under the income tax act.
whether i have to file return or not? if yes, is there any penalty regarding this?

01 October 2010 To claim refund you have to file IT Return.
there is no penalty if you do not file the return as your income is below the taxable limit. But you will lose the refund.
