08 February 2010 one of my client return i have filed on 14/04/2009 for A.Y. 2008-09 but we can't submit in deptt. with any reason. In return there are refund but when i go for again return filed by us then system said choose the revised return. May i will choose revised return and filed again then is it valid return for my client.

08 February 2010 Its ok you can file in department, its refund case too, y your filing revise return..u did any mistake in original return.

09 February 2010 Agreed. File in the dept..revised will be filed if there is any mistake and correction is to be made. No need to make revised return.

09 February 2010 in efilling when you file a return and it doesn't reach to department then you have to fill revised return. it is procedure.
So in your case file revised return there is not need to say that you didn't submit in department in hard copy you simply can say it lost in post as no record of ordinary post.
