Due date of filing return in case of tax audit assessees

whether the recent notification about extension of due date for obtaining and submission of tax audit report applies to submission of income tax return or it is only for tax audit report only

As of now its only for Tax Audit Report. Nothing has been announced by CBDT regarding extension of due date of Income Tax Return.

extend date for submit of audit report not for the return you can file return w/o audit report.

As expected date of filing of Income Tax Return for Tax Audit cases extended till 30.11.2014. See CBDT notification from below link--
