02 August 2008 What is the due date of filing return for Assessment Year 2008-2009?
Does the ammendment (30 september) made by the Finanace Act 2008 applies for 08-09.

02 August 2008 Due date for filing of return of income by the following categories
have been changed to be 30th September of the assessment
year:
(a) a company
(b) a person (other than a company) whose accounts are
required to be audited under this Act or under any other law
for the time being in force, and
(c) a working partner of a firm whose accounts are required to be
audited under this Act or under any other law for the time
being in force.
This amendment will take effect from 1st April, 2008.
