Due date of deposit of ESIC Challan

24 October 2009 Dear Sir,

pl tell me due date for deposit of ESIC challan and also if the last date is a public holiday, can I deposit the same by next day without paying penalty or interest.

24 October 2009 Hi Rakesh,

The due date for remitting ESIC is 15th of the succeeding month. If the due date is a public holiday, you can remit on the next working day

24 October 2009 You can depost ESI up to 21st of next month & EPF 20Th of next month

but question is that 21st of next month is a public holiday than can I deposit the challan in next working day.
